Giovanni's Shrimp Truck

When I told my parents that I was moving to Hawaii...this is pretty much how the conversation went.
Laura.."I'm moving to Hawaii with Jeff after we get married."
Parents..."You have to go to Giovanni's Shrimp Truck! It's the best shrimp on the entire island! And you can see 'The Hat' island which is in the Gilligan's Island show opening theme song!"
(Ok, so that's not exactly how the conversation went but this really is one of the first things they said to me).
So today Jeff and I did exactly that and had a great time.

Jeff wasn't really thrilled with having to wait for the shrimp.


I'm just interested in taking pictures.


Then the shrimp was ready! We got the shrimp scampi plate. (Shrimp, garlic and lemon).


MmmMmmm...yum...


Jeff was a good sport and tried one piece. Then he ordered a garlic hot dog. It was pretty good but it had a different taste to it that we couldn't quite put our finger on.
