RIP Phillip Puzo

Jeff and I received news yesterday that a friend of ours, Phillip Puzo, passed away in a motorcycle accident October 5th. He was 26 years old. Puzo was in the US Navy and on leave with his family in Massachusetts when it happened. He was to begin training to deploy to Iraq within a week or so. Jeff and I are absolutely stunned. Puzo attended our wedding this past July, and before we left Lemoore he was always stopping by to see us and visit. This is a big loss for everyone who knew him. His antics always kept all of us laughing. He was truly a free spirited person who enjoyed every second of life he had to the fullest. After reading the article in his local paper that described the crash, it has occured to me that he was wearing Jeff's motorcycle helmet when he passed. He had traded Jeff his GPS for it before we left Lemoore. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
